HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TUDOR PLAYERS!
2027 is our 60th Anniversary year. From humble beginnings in 1967, we grew from the ashes of the Brightside & Carbrook Players to become one of the leading amateur theatre groups in Sheffield. You can read more about our history here.
During our anniversary year we are bringing you a selection of productions mixing old and new, showcasing the best of what Tudor Players has done over the past six decades.

Vampires, witches and chaos collide in Lancre!
Following the success of Wyrd Sisters (October 2025), we bring you another in Terry Pratchett’s Witches series, Carpe Jugulum. Join Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and friends as they face a very modern vampire threat. Expect sharp wit, supernatural mayhem and plenty of laughs.

Our Mission
At Tudor Players, we are dedicated to delivering compelling theatre to the heart of Sheffield. Our community theatre productions are designed to engage, entertain, and inspire audiences through powerful storytelling and dynamic performances. We present three productions each year, in February, June, and October, at the Sheffield Library Theatre, located in the vibrant Sheffield theatre district, right in the centre of the city.
